Geometry, Algortihme and Randomness :
Conference in Honor of André Galligo's 80th Birthday
This international conference is organized to celebrate the 80th birthday of André Galligo, Professor Emeritus at Université Côte d'Azur.
The event brings together world-renowned experts to explore the core themes that have shaped André Galligo's career and continue to drive contemporary mathematical research. The scientific program is structured around three major pillars:
- Algebraic Geometry and Singularities: The study of geometric structures and their singular points, following the tradition of the French school of geometry.
- Computer Algebra and Effective Algebra: Development of algorithms for polynomial system solving, elimination, and factorization.
- Random Polynomials and Analysis: Recent developments on the distribution of roots and statistical properties of algebraic objects, at the intersection of probability and numerical analysis.
